Tutorial microScan3 + nanoScan3: How to replace and calibrate the optics cover

Replacing and calibrating the optics cover on the microScan3 and nanoScan3 safety laser scanners from SICK is easy!

If you ever need to replace the optics cover on your microScan3 or nanoScan3 safety laser scanner, don’t worry: It is an easy task and you can do it yourself.

Just order the respective spare set from sick.com and follow the instructions in our tutorial: Remove the old optics cover, clean if necessary, unpack the new optics cover and put it on the safety laser scanner. Finish the process by calibrating the optics cover in our configuration software, the SICK Safety Designer, and by aligning the safety laser scanner.
