DMM4: Flexible 4-signal muting solution for safe human-material differentiation

Looking for a flexible 4-signal muting solution for safe human-material differentiation? DMM4 is an extension module for the deTem safety light-beam sensors and the deTec safety light curtains from SICK, enabling flexibly configurable muting applications.

In this video, our product manager, Judith Kury, demonstrates this using four serially installed muting sensors and a deTec4 safety light curtain.

The DMM4 expansion module allows a flexible configuration of all kinds of muting parameters according to your application requirements. Simply connect the DMM4 to a laptop running the SICK configuration software, the Safety Designer, and define the muting type and configure various muting parameters.

DMM4 provides 10 inputs, e.g., for connecting additional command devices and safety devices next to the muting sensors, saving a lot of wiring effort.
