Tutorial microScan3: How to swap or replace the system plug

Swapping the position of the system plug of a microScan3 safety lasers scanner – or replacing it entirely – is easy!

If you ever need to change the position of the system plug on your microScan3 safety laser scanner, or even replace it entirely, don’t worry: It is an easy task and you can do it yourself.

Just follow the instructions in our tutorial: Remove the system plug from its original position at the bottom or the rear of the scanner. Then either replace it with a new system plug, if needed, or put the existing system plug into its new position. Note that the safety laser scanner’s configuration is stored on the system plug, so that in case of a device exchange the cables can be connected and the configuration stays in the application. The scanner will be back to green in seconds!
