Tutorial Surface+ technology: How to use it with SICK Nova

Discover Surface+ from SICK – a patented technology that provides an additional image dimension to reveal fine surface defects such as scratches, paint or coating defects as well as engravings.

By adding external light to the inspection area, detailed 2D data can be collected simultaneously as 3D data, all in a single image capture with the 2D and 3D data aligned in the same coordinate system.
