In this video, we introduce a pick and place application with a SWIFTI™ robot from ABB that we will use throughout the tutorial series to showcase the microScan3 Configuration tool – ABB.
Running on your Windows laptop, the microScan3 Configuration Tool – ABB is a plug-and-play solution for quickly and easily safeguarding robot applications with a SWIFTI™ and GoFa™ robot from ABB.
You’ll see how the Warning Area and Protecting Area work to ensure safety. If a person enters the Warning Area, the robot slows down. Entering the Protecting Area stops the robot, allowing safe interaction. When the person leaves, the robot resumes its tasks. This example will be used in future videos to explain the Configuration Tool in detail.
