The Overheight Detection System (OHD) is an object detection system that reliably detects overheight vehicles thereby avoiding hazardous situations. Thanks to digital inputs and outputs, the immediate alert can be combined with cameras and display panels. The incorporated LiDAR sensor with weather protection hood and the TDC-Gateway combine to create a compact solution that is versatile to mount and set up. Depending on the application, measurement of the vehicle height, lane assignment, and setting of customer-specific limit values can be implemented.
