If you ever need to replace the optics cover on your S3000 safety laser scanner, don’t worry: It is an easy task, and you can do it yourself.

Just order the respective spare set from sick.com and follow the instructions in our tutorial: Remove the old optics cover, clean, if necessary, unpack the new optics cover and put it on the safety laser scanner. Finish the process by calibrating the optics cover in our configuration and diagnostics software (CDS), and by aligning the safety laser scanner.
