Agrivoltaic systems are used in vineyards, on fruit and vegetable and crop plantations and across pastures to make dual use of the land. This generates renewable electricity.
TMS/TMM22 inclination sensors from SICK measure the inclination of the solar panels. The control system adjusts the panels to the position of the sun or follows a stored logic based on agrometeorological data. This leads to an optimized energy yield. The modules can also be positioned vertically for faster drying of the leaves to prevent fungal growth. In the event of hail or heavy rain, the solar modules are positioned horizontally.
